I was cleaning my (computer) desktop and found this video about a helpdesk from medieval times ( sadly it is in Norwegian
).
I had saved it on purpose because I though it was so funny. Now I found it on YouTube… deleted
As of right now I have moved my website to new server out in town on a 100MBit line, so it should be fairly fast. This is the first step in shutting down my server at home entirely. Lets see how it works out.
crossing my fingers and praying to the internet gods
Update: Now debianart.dk have been moved as well.
This have been an awesome Christmas. I didn’t really realize that Christmas was upon us until December the 22. when my and my girlfriend headed for Jutland to spend Christmas with my side of the family. Work have been stressing in December, so when I got home I didn’t have the energy to think of Christmas. Anyways…now it is over
My girlfriend gave me one of the best gifts ever: Nintendo Wii
And my little sister and her boyfriend gave me: Rayman Raving Rabbits
Just wanted to wish my readers a merry Christmas. MERRY CHRISTMAS GUYS.
I just went through a lot of comments which was pending approval. The reason why I haven’t done this before is because I hadn’t noticed that I had pending messages. Though the last few months have been a bit on the slow side. If I had been blogging regular I might have noticed before. Most comments was to my old post about MP3 ripping in sound Juicer. A lot of good tips in between, I’m really sorry guys.
I had like 4000 spam messages which I had to dig through first
I’m planning on updating my weblog software soon, perhaps it becomes easier to manage.

I guess Storm Troopers need to take a dump sometimes also… or what he is doing
The last 4 months my battery life on my laptop has becomming really bad. Mid december it died after a year and four months of good service.
Last week I ordered and recieved a new one – yay!
Right now I’m sitting in the train on my way home from work. Just finished watching the movie “You got served” on my laptop – a street dance movie. I can only say one thing… they surely know how to move
I have moved my server from my parents low bandwith to my own low bandwidth DSL connection… so I’m the only one (when I’m at home) who enjoys my speedy weblog
This is who I am… I wonder if anyone ended up beeing Darth Vader.

Last week I was in Paris with my girlfriend and my sister and her boyfriend. It was a great trip and our new digital camara (Canon Ixus 40) really hit the spot. We took almost 500 pictures, but it took a few days to get used to shoot at anything you see. Somehow both my girlfriend and I had trouble getting past the feeling of the limitation of a normal old school camara. Here is a cool picture my girlfriend took the St. Sulpice church (if you have read The Da Vinci Code you know which church I’m talking about):

I was surprised that they are so bad at speeking english, until I learned that english lessons aren’t forced upon them (like here in Denmark). And I can confirm that there are still a few arrogant french people who havn’t gotten over that french isn’t the preferred language outside France. Sorry I can’t remember the name of the resturant where people NOT speaking french isn’t welcome AT ALL, because trust me… you don’t wanna go in there. Don’t get me wrong we meet alot of nice people… also french speaking
Besides that the trip was a normal “go see as many worth-seeing things as possible” (including Disneyland).
To finish things my girlfriend and I sat down and saw EuroTrip when we came home… it just kinda felt right.
I have been busy lately unpacking boxes and trying to keep up at work. My computer and cable TV is ofcourse up and running, and the last two days I played a little World of Warcraft to take my mind of work. Work and getting settled have taken all my time, and when you finally have som spare time you feel guilty not unpacking, cleaning or some other meaningfull moving-to-new-appartment releated stuff. I havn’t even played the new Pirates by Sid Meier more than a few hours and I miss having time to write guides to the danish Debian guide, generaly just play around with Debian.
I had time to setup my IP-telephone box though, and it works like a charm. Now I only need somebody to call heh. I’m looking forward to the weekend which I will spend together with my girlfriend friday, some friends saturday and again my girlfriend sunday.
Last weekend wasn’t much of a weekend. I had to work all saturday setting up a new server, and I had trouble getting the hardware to play along with Debian Sarge. When I was finally reaching the point where I could head home, all public transport was stopped because a great storm has hit Denmark. I sat (alone) at the small office with my laptop (and a server which refused to let me use hardware RAID 0+1) the whole night. You should know that it REALLY SUCKED – heh. Luckily I had a few movies on my laptop… have you watched the Alias series with Jennifer Garner? I recommend it!
Since the last post I have also recieved my 10 Ubuntu CD’s. They are really nice…. well back to relaxing.
