This weekend started with a great friday evening in the cinema Biocity in Taastrup, with a friend of mine watching The Incredebles. This movie is one of the coolest 3D animation movies I have ever seen. Edna mode…. and guest.
After the movie we just talked about stuff and listened to music and I bought Coldplay from CD-WOW. A
Saturday I spend with another friend. We where supposed to play the new Sid Meier’s Pirates which release date I thought was yesterday. Instead we got sentimental and looked back to the glory days where games like Syndicate, Pirates and The Secret of Monkey Island where the hot stuff. We ended up playing through the first half of Escape from Monkey Island.
It wasn’t that hard because I have solved the puzzles before, though never completed the game… until today that is
Now I only need to complete Grim Fandango to have completed all Lucas Arts adventure games back to The Loom.
Starting from September, I have been employed at Casalogic where I until now have been working freelance. My first paycheck has reached my bank account and I’m now surfing the web for the best way to spend it
I have ordered the following:
- Nintendo Wave Bird controller (for GameCube)
- Sid Meier’s Pirates (no – not the old classic… but this remake will probably be a classic too)
- Samsung 172X TFT (please no pixel errors this time!!!)
- DVI cable (for the monitor)
The limited number of posts the last month is evidence that work have been taking too much of my time lately. Now I’m really looking forward to my vacation. I’m going to look closer on the code for art.gnome.org and see if I can reuse it for debianart.dk.
Yesterday I went to the movies with a friend of mine to see “King Arthur”. It had been a while since we last met. We went to the big movie theatre in Copenhage (Imperial) where we spend some time before the movie to catch up. I had a great time and the movie was good, not like Braveheart or Gladiator but okay entertainment no doubt.
Saturday was spent working the entire day (and some of the night too). I wasn’t home until 1.00 AM sunday morning. Even thought you should think so I didn’t sleep that well. I wasn’t sure if I would be called to work again today.
Nobody have called me yet telling me ‘the house’ is on fire so I’m beginning to relax.
A few hours of Metriod Prime has also helped
Yesterday I went to a birthday (grill) party held be a friend of mine from university. I was a great party eventhough it rained and mainly boys attended. Well I had a lot of fun, and a few beers
I talked to a guy there who manages a floorball team on Nørrebro in Copenhagen. I will try to pull myself together and contact him and start playing. I have been talking about finding a floorball team for a long time now.
I hope I have the time to both keep dancing breakdance and playing floorball, but if I have to choose breakdance is my priority.
Today I found an article covering things to keep in mind when you creates weblogs or just websites.
I hope I get the time to take a closer look… I only read about half the entries.
Today I went to the movies to see Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. I found the movie really good and I’m looking forward to all the next ones. I have read all the books and both the books and the movies keeps getting better… hope it stays that way.
Yesterday evening I attended a lecture named “Open Source – Linux, disruptive technology or cost cutting measure?” where Richard Seibt spoke. There where about 20 people and it was very exciting.
I talked a little bit with him later and he seems like a really great guy.
Today I went to se the new grand shopping center Fields just opened in Denmark.
I got some new T-Shirts and I bought Jak II – Renegade for 199DKK ~ 27€ (today on xe.com)
I played it for about an hour and I’m impressed! Allready from start it is alot more variated than the first game. I seems alot more like Ratchet & Clank which I think is good.
